Welcome to The Steffel Real Estate Group. I am Denise Steffel, owner and managing member. I am excited to work with clients and community members in the Sarasota/Bradenton area.
Originally from Michigan (Grand Rapids), my career took me to Dallas in 1988 and then to Florida in 2017, where I joined Raymond James Financial Services as Vice President of Operations. I have spent 35 years working in the financial services industry, with firms including Apex Clearing, UBS, Bear Stearns, PaineWebber, and Prudential Securities, spanning financial advisors, fintech broker-dealers, and compliance and regulatory programs. Most recently, I served as President of a fintech broker-dealer firm and I continue to serve in a global compliance role today.

On a personal note, I am a proud member of the Little Traverse Bay Band of Odawa Indians from Petoskey, MI, and was honored to serve as Vice Chairwoman of the Economic Development Board, helping diversify revenue streams and support continued growth for the tribe.

As Broker/Owner, Denise leads the real estate side of the business, working directly with buyers and sellers throughout the Bradenton, Lakewood Ranch, Sarasota and surrounding Gulf Coast communities.

As Managing Member, Eric works alongside Denise supporting the business operations of The Steffel Real Estate Group. With more than 30 years of experience in customer service, operations, and team leadership, he brings valuable expertise in organization, financial administration, problem-solving, and client service. Eric also lends a hand with brokerage events making The Steffel Real Estate Group truly a team effort.

Together, Denise and Eric have built their brokerage around a simple philosophy: provide knowledgeable, responsive and personal service while treating every client relationship as one that lasts well beyond the closing table.

Eric is not a licensed real estate agent and does not perform activities requiring a real estate license.
